Inter are focusing on one sale of a major player before they try to tackle other transfer commitments, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As is explained by Sport Mediaset, the income generated from one big sale will allow the Nerazzurri to compose their squad for next season properly.

It looked very likely that the big sale would be of Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint Germain, but that deal has slowed down after the Ligue 1 side became reluctant to meet Inter’s €80 million asking price for the attacking right-back from Morocco.

Chelsea could look to resurrect that deal but both clubs seem to view Achraf Hakimi as a €60 million player along with some bonus payments based on performance.

Lautaro Martinez could now become the big departure instead because Barcelona may be willing to include Inter target Emerson Royal in the deal. Inter want €90 million for the Argentine but the inclusion of Emerson Royal would make negotiations easier for everyone.
