Two Inter players could be representing Cagliari next season as Inter looks to reduce its wage bill ahead of the new season, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been written in the pages of Tuttosport this morning, Andrea Pinamonti and Radja Nainggolan could be playing for the Rossoblu next year.

The latter spent the previous season on loan at Cagliari and he wants to sign permanently for the Sardinian side. The club have only been paying part of his €4.5 million salary however, and Inter do not want to pay any of it if he remains at Cagliari.

The Belgian midfielder is valued at €9.5 million by the Nerazzurri, but they would be willing to sell him for cheaper if it meant not paying any of his wages.

As for Andrea Pinamonti, Inter would be open to a permanent sale but his €2 million a year salary is tricky for Cagliari. A loan with an option to buy may suit all parties better.
