Christian Eriksen was quick to reassure his Inter teammates that he was no longer in medical danger following his ordeal on Saturday night, as was confirmed by Inter CEO Beppe Marotta.

Christian Eriksen had his Inter family at the front of his mind when he reached the hospital yesterday evening as he messaged the team to update them on his condition.

It was confirmed by Inter CEO Beppe Marotta as he spoke to Rai TV that people at Inter were touched by how quick Christian Eriksen was to get in touch and reassure them of his health.

“I’m fine, I hope to be back soon.”

The Danish midfielder collapsed during his countries first game of Euro 2020 on Saturday evening. He was given immediate medical assistance on the pitch before being taken to the hospital for further checks.

The Danish Football Association has since confirmed that the midfielder will remain in the hospital for further examinations, but he is stable and talking.
