Inter have initiated contact with the representatives of transfer target Filip Kostic with a view to bringing the Serbian international to the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Inter are very serious about bringing Filip Kostic to the side so that they can bolster their options on the left-wing. The Eintracht Frankfurt player would represent a clear improvement on the players that Inter currently has on the left.

Inter are unlikely to make a formal bid for the player until they have raised some money from player sales. The club needs to receive at least €80 million this summer in order to balance the books, and they need to reduce the wage costs by 15%.

If Inter eventually decides not to make a serious move for Filip Kostic, then Emerson Palmieri could come back into the frame. The Chelsea left-back has been an Inter target for a few weeks.
