Serie C club Feralpisalo have expressed that they do not wish to purchase young Inter midfielder Lorenzo Gavioli for next season after his loan stay at the club last season, according to reports.

This is according to Italian media outlet FCInterNews who claim that the Lombardy club based in Sardo have not been sufficiently impressed by his performances to take him outright for next season.

The 21-year-old made 25 appearances for the club last season in Serie C, scoring one goal, and Feralpisalo sporting director Oscar Magoni is said to have made clear to the Nerazzurri that this was not sufficient to warrant buying the player..

It remains to be seen where he will play next season presuming Inter cannot persuade Feralpisalo to buy him, though no interest is known to have appeared.

Another Inter midfielder who spent last season on loan in Serie C, 21-year-old Marco Pompetti, however, is thought to have attracted interest.
