Inter left-back Ashley Young has praised England on Twitter after their 1-0 win over Croatia in their opening Euro 2020 match.

The game was played in front of 22,500 fans at Wembley Stadium in London, and Raheem Sterling’s goal in the second half proved the difference in what was a tight and cagey game of football.

England’s other two Group D opponents are Scotland and Czech Republic, who will both be hoping to get one over on the group favourites.
