The deal to make Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan a Cagliari player on a permanent basis is coming close to completion, with final details set to be confirmed.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who claim that a meeting is scheduled between the two clubs for tomorrow, where it is hoped that the deal between the clubs will be completed.

The Belgian spent the second half of last season on loan with the Sardinian club, where he was a key player as Leonardo Semplici’s side avoided relegation.

It is thought that the player’s wish has always been for his stay in Sardinia to be extended on a permanent basis, as he is happy there and has agreed personal terms for a deal with the Rossoblu.

It has only been the question of negotiations between the two clubs, and Cagliari want the player while Inter hope to get him off their books in order to not have to pay out the remaining €6 million left on his contract.
