Radja Nainggolan is close to leaving Inter to become a Cagliari player on a permanent basis, with the clubs near to reaching an agreement for the player’s transfer.
Italian news service ANSA are reporting via FcInterNews that the two clubs are one step away from working out the final details on the transfer deal which would see Nainggolan join Cagliari on a permanent basis.
The Belgian is known to have wanted to extended his stay in Sardinia having been on loan for the second half of last season where he helped Leonardo Semplici’s side avoid relegation.
The 33-year-old is thought to want to end his career in a Rossoblue shirt.
Cagliari also want the player, and Inter have no intention of keeping him on at the club due to his wages being high for a player who is not in the club’s plans for next season.
It is understood that confirmation of a deal will come soon.
