Inter are in talks with Cagliari to bring Nahitan Nandez to the Giuseppe Meazza, with the Nerazzurri looking to accelerate negotiations and make the possibility of the Uruguayan’s arrival more concrete.

This is according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that Cagliari sporting director Stefano Capozucca has confirmed that an offer by the Nerazzurri has been submitted for Nandez.

The two clubs are involved in negotiations to send Radja Nainggolan to the Sardegna Arena on a permanent basis after the Belgian spent the second half of last season on loan with the Rossoblu.

According to Capozucca, during this process Inter also registered their interest in Nandez, and submitted a formal offer for the player.

Talks between Inter and Cagliari do not end there, however; the Sardinians are also interested in bringing Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti to the club to replace the departing Giovanni Simeone, although there are obstacles to a possible €2 million deal for the player.

Cagliari are also interested in bringing in Inter youngsters Martin Satriano and Andi Hoti on loan, although it is thought that Inter are reluctant to deal on either player due to Cagliari’s inability to give assurances about the amount of top-flight experience that either player would receive in the event of a loan.
