Achraf Hakimi has been clear on his preferred destination should the Moroccan leave Inter, with Paris Saint-German being the club of his choice over rivals Chelsea.
This is the claim of the print edition of English tabloid The Daily Express, who report that should PSG make an offer which is satisfactory to Inter then the French capital is where the player would move to rather than Stamford Bridge.
Inter have rejected offers worth €60 million from both Chelsea and PSG, with both clubs still considering their next move and exploring the possibility of including players as part of a deal for Hakimi in addition to improving the cash value of their offer.
On the player’s part, however, he prefers PSG, and this could prove the decisive factor in his transfer saga.
Inter are willing to sell the 22-year-old for the right price, and if either Chelsea or PSG meet their valuation the Nerazzurri will sell, but if PSG persuade Inter then there is likely little Chelsea can do as the player’s preference is for the French club.
