Technical director Gabriele Oriali could depart from Inter for next season to work exclusively with the Italian national team, according to reports.

This from today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Italian’s future will be clarified after this summer’s European Championships.

Oriali was brought in to assist Antonio Conte at the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2019, but has also been a member of Roberto Mancini’s staff with the Italian national side.

Oriali’s contract expires on June 3o, and it is thought that he is likelier to commit himself exclusively to the Azzurri than to remain in his role under incoming manager Simone Inzaghi.

However, his Italy future will be determined by Italy’s performances at the Euros, it is thoughts.

Roberto Mancini is under contract with the Azzurri until 2026, but his future could be determined by the outcome of this summer’s Euros.

It remains to be seen how Inter would replace Oriali, but the Nerazzurri are thought to want someone in a similar role for next season to assist Inzaghi.
