Inter have not yet received a response from either Ashley Young or Andrea Ranocchia to their offer of a one-year contract extension in each case, with both players’ contracts set to run out at the end of the month.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who also report that Inter are stepping up their pursuit of Lazio’s Stefan Radu, and that young French midfielder Lucien Agoume is set to extend his contract with the Nerazzurri.

Young and Ranocchia’s situations are at the player’s discretion, with the 35-year-old Englishman thought to be leaning towards a move to an English club for family reasons while the 33-year-old Italian prefers a stay in Milan.

Meanwhile, Inter have made an offer to Lazio defender Stefan Radu, hoping to reunite the Romanian with former Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi on a one-year-deal, though the Biancocelesti wish to keep the player and are also hopeful that he will renew in Rome.

The deal to extend 19-year-old French midfielder Lucien Agoume’s contract with the Nerazzurri also looks set to be announced soon after successful negotiations.
