Inter could look to sign Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski with an aim to transitioning him to being their full-time Number One when Samir Handanovic leaves.

This is reported in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Pole would not immediately replace the Slovenian on a full-time basis, but would be introduced into the team gradually.

Handanovic is 36 years old, and it is thought that his time with the Nerazzurri could come to an end in the near future, with Inter seeking a long-term replacement for the former Udinese man who has held down the position since joining the club in 2012.

Inter have already signed 38-year-old Alex Cordaz as a third-choice option, while Andrei Radu remains at the club, with the likes of Verona and Cagliari interested in the Romanian.

Dragowski is among the impressive Serie A keepers who Inter are said to be monitoring, and the 23-year-old could arrive at the Giuseppe Meazza to deputize for Handanovic before taking over when the Slovenian leaves.

Dragowski’s contract with Fiorentina expires in 2023.
