Inter have a longstanding interest in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic, but have not made any moves to bring him to the Giuseppe Meazza.

This is the report of Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who claim that the interest in the Serbian is not new to this transfer window and that sporting director Piero Ausilio in particular admires him, but that the club will pursue other targets.

It is reported that the Nerazzurri are unsure of whether they would be able to sign Kostic for the valuation made on the player by Eintracht.

The player is thought to be valued at around €25 million by his current club.

Inter are thought to have made Kostic’s position the left side a priority in the upcoming transfer market, with Ashley Young having departed for Aston Villa earlier today.

However, the club are looking at other players before the 28-year-old, with Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso in particular being names that have come up.
