Inter are not considering the possibility of signing Roma full-back Alessandro Florenzi as a replacement for Achraf Hakimi should the Moroccan depart in the summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Il Giorno, who report that the 30-year-old Italian’s name has been removed from the Nerazzurri’s list.

Florenzi has spent the past season on loan with Paris Saint-Germain, having spent the prior half a season at Valencia, and is not thought to be inclined towards a return to his parent club in the Italian capital.

PSG, however, do not wish to keep the player, and are making Hakimi the number-one target for his replacement.

How this would affect PSG’s intentions is unclear, but it narrows down the potential list of targets for the Nerazzurri, who will certainly want to replace Hakimi with a player of a similar profile should the Moroccan leave the Giuseppe Meazza in the summer.
