Legendary former Inter and Italy goalkeeper Walter Zenga has posted a video of himself making a brilliant stop against Switzerland in a EURO 1988 qualifier.
Zenga posted the video on the day of Italy’s EURO 2020 group stage match against Switzerland, to remind fans of the iconic heritage of the Azzurri against the same opposition.
Zenga is cheering on his national team, and hoping that this generation of Azzurri stars can show the kind of form that he demonstrates in this video for this summer’s tournament.
Zenga’s post reads: “Even in the last moment, the smallest detail can make the difference. As happened to us in Italy – Switzerland 1987. Do you Remember this save?”
