Inter are hoping to send a video message to midfielder Christian Eriksen in the next few days, after the Dane’s discharge from hospital earlier today.
Italian broadcaster Sky Sport report that the Nerazzurri are planning to establish personal contact with the player soon by sending a video message to him in Denmark with the player discharged from the hospital earlier today.
The player plans to return to his home in the Danish city Odense, where he will recover with his family.
Once there, it is hoped that the player will be in a good mood and ready to communicate with the Inter management about his situation and begin talks about what the future holds.
Meanwhile, it is also reported that the ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrulator that the Dane has been fitted with will be considered a temporary measure until he is assessed again in 2-3 weeks to determine whether or not it needs to be made permanent.
The temporary or permanent status of the device could hold significant ramifications for the Dane’s Nerazzurri career, as athletes with the devices are prohibited from contact sports in Italy.
