Monza have confirmed the signing of Inter goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio on loan for next season, with an obligation to buy in the event that they are promoted to Serie A.

Italian news outlet FCInterNews are reporting that the player has confirmed an extension of his loan with the Lombardy club, having spent the prior season on loan in Monza as well.

The loan also includes a clause which obligates the Serie B club to buy him for €4 million should they achieve promotion next campaign.

Meanwhile, the future of Lorenzo Pirola remains to be decided in the coming days, with Monza interested in renewing his loan from last season but also facing competition.

The 19-year-old defender is said to be a target of Monza’s Serie B rivals Parma, as well as Serie A club Cagliari, with Inter still said to be accepting offers and counter-offers for payment for the player.
