Chelsea have not given up hope of signing Inter’s Achraf Hakimi and they have identified players available for exchange, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by Corriere dello Sport today, the London club have identified five players that they will be willing to include in any player plus cash deal for Moroccan wing-back Achraf Hakimi.

Paris Saint Germain moved ahead of Chelsea in the race this week after raising their offer to €70 million, so Chelsea have decided to offer Inter any of Davide Zappacosta, Emerson Palmieri, Tammy Abraham, Andreas Christensen, and Marcos Alonso.

It is the latter that has apparently interested the Nerazzurri the most and that could give Thomas Tuchel’s side an edge over the Ligue 1 runners-up.

Emerson Palmieri is also a player that Inter have been very keen on signing this summer, but the two clubs are yet to come close to agreeing a fee for the Italian left-back.
