The coming week could be decisive in the future of Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan as he looks to secure a permanent move to Cagliari, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Radja Nainggolan will likely learn his future in the coming week as talks progress between Inter and Cagliari, where he spent the 2020/21 season on loan.

Inter certainly have no intention of keeping Radja Nainggolan and he has his heart set on the permanent move to Sardinia. Cagliari have put a three-year deal on the table which the Belgian midfielder is waiting to sign, but he first has to sort out the issue of severance pay with Inter.

The Nerazzurri do not wish to stand in his way because he is not in Simone Inzaghi’s plans, and the club are trying to cut 15% off of the wage bill.
