Joao Mario is apparently very disappointed that his proposed move to Sporting Lisbon did not go through over the past few weeks, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been written in La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Portuguese player is not in a good mood because he had his heart set on the move to Portuguese champions Sporting Lisbon.

He spent the last season on loan in Lisbon and the club were very keen on signing him permanently. Inter did not want to stand in Joao Mario’s way, but Sporting refused to meet the price that the Nerazzurri had set.

Now the player is being offered to other sides such as Villareal in Spain and Nice in France, who have both expressed interest in signing the attacking midfielder.

Joao Mario is annoyed that Sporting Lisbon have not paid the right fee for him, but he is still confident of getting his move this summer.
