Paris Saint Germain are getting very close to completing a deal for Inter’s Achraf Hakimi this summer after a long transfer saga, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported in today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the deal for Achraf Hakimi could be wrapped up in the coming week.

This will be of great relief to Inter who need to sell the Moroccan in order to move on with their transfer strategy and buy some new, cheaper players.

The deal will likely end up being €70 million with some performance-related bonuses involved. This is slightly less than Inter wanted but Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea were recently bidding as little as €50 million.

It is believed that Achraf Hakimi’s partner, Hiba Abouk, is much more inclined to move to Paris than London because it suits her work commitments.

Chelsea could still respond with a high offer of their own.
