Stefano Sensi could have a more prominent role to play next season for Inter if Christian Eriksen is not able to be involved, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Inter have no choice but to start planning for the possibility that Christian Eriksen may have no more involvement with the Nerazzurri following his cardiac arrest at Euro 2020.

Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch during his countries opening Euro 2020 game against Finland in Copenhagen. He was given immediate medical attention on the pitch, including CPR.

He was then taken to the hospital for further examinations where UEFA and the Danish Football Association confirmed that was stable and talking. The game was resumed and Finland went on to win the match 1-0 thanks to a second-half goal.

Whilst the loan market is being scanned, Stefano Sensi may be given the opportunity to prove why he should be a more prominent player for Inter.
