The family of Inter winger Achraf Hakimi would rather he signed for Paris Saint Germain than Premier League side Chelsea, according to a report in the English media today.
As has been reported in England by Caught Offside, Achraf Hakimi’s family are hoping that Paris Saint Germain stump up the right amount of cash to buy him because much of the family live very close to Paris. They are also fans of the club that is now led by ex-Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The player himself is slightly disappointed with the French club though because he feels if they were desperate to sign him, it would have happened by now.
Their interest in the Moroccan was clear even before the season ended but all their bids so far have been under the asking price set by Inter. This is what has allowed Chelsea to remain in the race for his signature.
