Chelsea are expected to make the next move in the Achraf Hakimi transfer saga next week by making an official bid for the player, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, Chelsea are going to try and include their left-back, Marcos Alonso, in a deal for Achraf Hakimi. That means the London club and Inter need to agree on how much direct cash should be paid for Hakimi that includes the agreed value of Marcos Alonso.

At the moment it is understood that Chelsea wants to bid around €55-60 million, as well as Marcos Alonso in order to secure Achraf Hakimi’s services for next season.

Paris Saint Germain are still about €10 million away from Inter’s valuation of €70 million, so Chelsea now looks to be in a position of strength with negotiations.

Paris Saint Germain have already agreed on personal terms with the player.
