Inter president Steven Zhang has ratified the renewals of four different directors at the club before heading back to China, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the four individuals are Chief Operating Officer Beppe Marotta, Sporting Director Piero Ausilio, his deputy Dario Baccin, and Head of Youth Football Roberto Samaden.

It was reported yesterday that despite rumours around his imminent departure, Beppe Marotta would in fact be extending his contract. Steven Zhang wishes to keep the existing team together in order to help tackle what will be a very demanding and important summer transfer window.

The president wanted to complete these deals before he left northern Italy and returned to his native China.

Big decisions need to be made by the directors as they aim to raise at least €70 million from player sales but ideally more, and cut the player wage bill by 15%.
