It could take a few more weeks before the extended contracts of four Inter directors are actually made official, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been explained by Corriere dello Sport, the news of the four contract renewals has mainly been released so that the image of solidity and calm can be shown to the fans ahead of a very tumultuous summer transfer window.

Inter president Steven Zhang has spent the last two months in Italy working to make sure everything is running as smooth as possible at the club. Before he flies back to China in the coming days, he decided to communicate the fact that new two-year extension deals have been offered to four directors who many believed were about to leave the club.

The directors in question are Chief Operating Officer Beppe Marotta, Sporting Director Piero Ausilio, his deputy Dario Baccin, and Head of Youth Football Roberto Samaden.
