The contract renewals of four prominent Inter directors shows that there is clear stability and belief in the project at the top of the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInter1908, the reasoning behind Steven Zhang’s decision to give out these new contracts is to prove that everyone firmly believes in the direction that Inter are heading, and there will not be mass departures following Antonio Conte’s decision to leave the club at the end of last season.

The directors in question who signed new deals keeping them at the club until 2024 are Chief Operating Officer Beppe Marotta, Sporting Director Piero Ausilio, his deputy Dario Baccin, and Head of Youth Football Roberto Samaden.

It is a key period of time for Inter as the sale Achraf Hakimi looks to be edging closer and closer, meaning the club can then try to make signings of their own.
