A summer move for Achraf Hakimi is getting closer and closer after Inter dropped the asking price, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Inter are now willing to accept a deal of €70 million rather than the €80 million they have been asking for all along.

This means the gap between Paris Saint Germain’s latest bid and the new asking price is only €10 million. The price has been dropped because the June 30th deadline for raising €80 million from player sales is fast approaching.

The Moroccan already has a deal agreed on with Paris Saint Germain that will see him earn €8 million a season, but he has not held talks for personal terms with Chelsea yet.

The European Champions could still beat Paris Saint Germain to the signing because they have offered Marcos Alonso as part of the deal, who Inter are very interested in.
