Inter are seriously considering taking up Chelsea on their offer of including Marcos Alonso in a deal for Achraf Hakimi this summer, according to a report in the English media today.

As has been reported by Sky Sports, of the five players that Chelsea said they were willing to include in an Achraf Hakimi deal, Marcos Alonso is the one most appealing to the Nerazzurri.

This suddenly puts Chelsea in a position of strength over the other team chasing the Moroccan right-back, Paris Saint Germain.

The Ligue 1 side became the frontrunners when they upped their offer to €70 million, but Inter may be more intrigued to deal with Chelsea because they need a new left-back for next season.

Paris Saint Germain have also suggested they will include players in a deal for Achraf Hakimi, but their offerings of Leandro Paredes or Rafinha were of no interest to the Nerazzurri.

In terms of departures, Aleksander Kolarov appears to have an imminent contract offer from Bologna.
