Inter target Nahitan Nandez is not keen on a proposed move to Leeds United despite the Premier League club being ready to meet his release clause, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported in the pages of La Nuova Sardegna, the midfielder would not like to move to Leeds United and play under Marcelo Bielsa, despite the team having a very successful first season back in the Premier League.

The Yorkshire club have stated that they are willing to meet the €36 million release clause that Cagliari inserted into the Uruguyuan’s contract.

This development means that should Inter want to sign Nahitan Nandez as a replacement for the seemingly outgoing Achraf Hakimi, they could still have a clear run at the player.

It is not clear why Nahitan Nandez is not interested in the move to Leeds United, given he would become a Premier League player on a very good wage, and be playing in an attacking team.
