Inter are holding off on the sales and loans of their less important midfielders because they do not know what the future holds for Christian Eriksen following his cardiac arrest, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported on the website of Gianluca Di Marzio, players such as Radja Nainggolan and Lucien Agoume may not be leaving the club this summer as soon as they first expected.

Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch during his countries opening Euro 2020 game against Finland in Copenhagen. He was given immediate medical attention on the pitch, including CPR. He is now recovering at his home in Odense, Denmark, with his family and doctors.

Without knowing whether the Dane will be able to play for the club again, Inter are holding off on sending Lucien Agoume out on loan, or ratifying Radja Nainggolan’s impending move to Cagliari where he spent the last season on loan.
