Lazio are looking to sign Eintracht Frankfurt player Filip Kostic this summer despite Inter being in talks to sign the winger, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Lazio are seriously attempting to sign Filip Kostic from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The news comes a week after Inter agreed on personal terms with the Serbian, but the Nerazzurri have not reached any agreement with the German club yet. They are not in a position to sign anyone until Achraf Hakimi’s transfer to either Chelsea or Paris Saint Germain is finalised.

if the Moroccan goes to Chelsea, Inter may receive Marcos Alonso as part of that, making a deal for Filip Kostic less important.

Lazio are hoping to take Filip Kostic on loan for one year, but with an option to sign the player permanently should they secure qualification to the UEFA Champions League at the end of the 2021/22 Serie A campaign.
