Inter could face competition for the signature of reported target Denzel Dumfries, with Premier Legaue club Everton thought to have entered the race.

Dutch news outlet Voetbal International report that the Merseyside club have recently made their interest in the player known, joining Inter and German club Bayern Munich among interested parties.

Dumfries is thought to be one of Inter’s top targets to replace Achraf Hakimi should the Moroccan depart in the summer, with Chelsea and PSG stepping up their efforts to sign him.

The Dutchman has made it known that he wants to leave PSV in the summer, and is thought that should Inter make an offer that meets the Dutch club’s valuation they would be able to sign him.

However, with the player’s impressive performances with his country at this summer’s Euros, he is attracting increased interest from European clubs, with Everton set to rival the Nerazzurri.

It is expected that any movement for the Dutchman from Inter would come after the sale of Hakimi is complete.
