AC Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is set to become an Inter player tomorrow, the player has confirmed.

Speaking to Turkish broadcaster TRT News moments ago, the 27-year-old stated that he will join the Nerazzurri from their city rivals tomorrow.

Calhanoglu will sign a three-year contract with Inter with an option to extend for a fourth year.

The Turk has been linked to Inter in recent days, with the club thought to be considering him as a replacement for Christian Eriksen with the stricken Dane set to miss all or most of next season.

Calhanoglu’s contract with Milan is set to run out at the end of the month, and he is unable to reach an agreement for a new contract with the club and player thought to be too far apart on wages.

The player still has his medical examination with Inter to complete, but will sign for the club upon its completion.

Speaking to TRT News, Calhanoglu stated:

“I have reached an agreement with Inter. I will go to Milan tomorrow and I will sign the contract after the medical examinations.”
