Chelsea could entice Inter to sell wing-back Achraf Hakimi to them over rivals Paris Saint-German with the inclusion of Marcos Alonso in a deal, but currently differ from the Nerazzurri on the Spaniard’s valuation.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who claim that the Blues and the Nerazzurri are still a ways away on the amount of a fee to be paid alongside Alonso going the other way,
Chelsea are said to value the 30-year-old at around €20 million, and so are hoping to offer the player plus €50 million to meet Inter’s €70 million valuation for Hakimi.
Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio meanwhile, want €60 million plus Alonso for the Moroccan.
Chelsea’s rivals PSG, meanwhile, are said to be ready to offer €70 million for Hakimi, without the inclusion of any players going the other way.
It is thought that Inter are hoping to sell the 22-year-old by the end of the month in order to meet financial targets and help make up a €170 million budget deficit, and negotiations for his departure are set to accelerate in the coming days.
