Inter wing-back Achraf Hakimi’s preference is towards Paris Saint-Germain in the transfer battle between the French club and Chelsea.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who claim that the Parisians are ready to make an offer that the Nerazzurri will accept.

Should PSG make an offer which meets Inter’s valuation for the Moroccan then that will be his destination as it is still his preference, it is thought.

Inter are expected to make a major sale of a high-value squad member before the end of the month in order to help meet financial targets at the club and balance the budget, and Hakimi is thought to be the number-one possibility for a departure.

PSG sporting director Leonardo is reportedly planning an in-person visit to Milan where he will try to finalize a deal for the 22-year-old with a €70 million offer which meets Inter’s demanded fee.

PSG’s rivals Chelsea meanwhile are still offering Spanish wing-back Marcos Alonso as part of a deal for Hakimi, with the 30-year-old Inter coach Simone Inzaghi’s preference for a left-sided player.

However, should Inter agree a deal with PSG then that is likely where the Moroccan will end up.
