Inter have expressed an interest in departing Parma goalkeeper Luigi Sepe, but face competition for the 30-year-old’s signature.

This according to Italian transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reports on his website that the Parma keeper looks set to depart the relegated club, with Gianluigi Buffon’s return to the club pushing his exit even closer.

The Nerazzurri are interested in the Italian as a backup option for Number One Samir Handanovic, with the Slovenian set to stay at the Giuseppe Meazza for one more season.

Napoli are also interested in the Italian, and could move to bring him back to Naples, as they are also his first club.

Genoa have also expressed a strong interest in the player, and could have one major advantage over their rivals for his signature, in that Sepe wants regular football and would likely be guaranteed a starting spot at Genoa whereas he would not with Inter or Napoli.

Meanwhile, Inter are still interested in Hellas Verona keeper Marco Silvestri as an option for Handanovic’s backup, with the player’s contract set to expire at the end of the month.

Verona could look to renew with the player, although a move to Inter is also an option and the club are thought to admire Silvestri.

Further clarifying the goalkeeping situation at the Giuseppe Meazza, it appears that Andrei Radu is set to depart for next season.

The 24-year-old Romanian is of interest to Real Sociedad, with the Spanish club close to agreeing a move for the player, probably on loan.
