The signing of Alex Cordaz may not be the only goalkeeper that Inter sign this summer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by the print edition of  Corriere dello Sport, it is not immediately clear whether Alex Cordaz will be Inter’s second or third choice goalkeeper when the 2021/22 season rolls around.

It largely depends on the future of current second choice keeper Ionut Radu. Inter are currently in talks with Real Sociedad over selling the Romanian keeper, but he could still stay at the club.

Neither of Samir Handanovic’s backups are going to become the number one choice when he leaves though, and given he is turning 37-years-old shortly, this may be his final season for the Nerazzurri.

This means Inter may have to enter the market once again this summer in order to sign the player who will eventually become Samie Handanovic’s replacement between the sticks at the San Siro.
