Inter are choosing between six different names to find their replacement for Achraf Hakimi, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, there are six players being evaluated by the Nerazzurri who could be bought to the club following Achraf Hakimi’s impending departure to Paris Saint Germain.

In terms of direct right-back replacements, the fight seems to be between Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta who spent last season on loan at Genoa, PSV Eindhoven’s Denzel Dumfries who has impressed at EURO 2020 so far, and Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin who looks set for a move away from the Emirates.

Inter may look to focus the Achraf Hakimi money on the left-back position though as it is an area where the team lacks quality and depth. The names touted in that department are Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic, and two more Chelsea players, Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso.
