Inter could be about to secure the surprise signing of a Peruvian defender from Velez Sarsfield, according to a report from the Peruvian media.

As has been reported by journalist Ángel Paul Flores whilst talking to Voces del Fútbol, 25-year-old Luis Abram could soon be arriving in Milan to finalise a move away from Argentine side Velez Sarsfield.

The centre back has reportedly said goodbye to his teammates before making the move, but he will not be playing for Inter next season should the deal go through. The Nerazzurri have already decided that he will be immediately loaned to fellow Serie A side Cagliari so that he can get some experience of playing football in Europe.

Luis Abram has made 27 appearances for the Peruvian national team during his career, and has made 52 appearances for Velez Sarsfield since his move there in 2018. Before that, he played for Sporting Cristal in Peru.
