Inter are only looking to use a small percentage of the Achraf Hakimi money for a replacement wing-back, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, just €15 million of the likely up-front payment Paris Saint Germain will make of €65 million, will be reinvested into that area of the pitch.

Three of the names that Inter are looking at to replace the Moroccan wing-back are Manuel Lazzari of Lazio, Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, and Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta.

With just €15 million available though, these deals look very unlikely to happen. The only one who could be as cheap as that is Davide Zappacosta, who spent the previous season on loan at Genoa.

Manuel Lazzari is Simone Inzaghi’s first choice for the role, but he is aware that dealing with Lazio President Claudio Lotito could be very difficult given the way Simone Inzaghi left the club.
