Inter have made contact with the agent of Sassuolo star Giacomo Raspadori over a possible summer transfer, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Libero, the Sassuolo striker actually has the same agent as Inter centre-back Andrea Ranocchia. He has recently been in discussions to extend his contract, meaning Inter took the opportunity to chat with Tullio Tinti about his client.

It first seemed that Inter would only move for Giacomo Raspadori if Lautaro Martinez were to move to either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid. That sale is unlikely now that Achraf Hakimi looks set to move to Paris Saint Germain, but Inter could still swoop for the 21-year-old as he would be a very effective back-up to Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku.

Sassuolo may only ask for around €20 million for the Italy international, but that price will certainly rise if multiple clubs start a bidding war.
