Inter target Nahitan Nandez is looking more and more likely to be a Leeds United player next season as the Nerazzurri hold out on making a bid, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Cagliari player has come round to the idea of joining Marcelo Bielsa in the Premier League after reports last week suggested he had no interest in the move.

After a very successful first season back in the Premier League, Leeds United know they have to spend big if they want to continue climbing the table and push for the European places. That is why they are ready to pay the €36 million release clause that Cagliari placed in Nahitan Nandez’s contract.

Inter have not made any concrete move for the Uruguayan midfielder as of yet, meaning the path is open for Leeds United. Fiorentina were interested but they have since signed Nicolas Gonzalez from Stuttgart.
