The transfer of Nahitan Nandez to Leeds United could hinder Radja Nainggolan’s transfer to Cagliari this summer, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by L’Interista, the Nerazzurri were hoping to use Radja Nainggolan as part of a deal for Nahitan Nandez, as well as some other youngsters such as Andrea Pinamonti.
The Inter midfielder spent the previous season on loan at Cagliari and he has every intention of staying in Sardinia on a permanent deal. The issue of severance pay between Radja Nainggolan and Inter does not seem to be going away though.
Nahitan Nandez’s impending €36 million move to Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United will not help matters. The move for the Belgian midfielder is not dead but negotiations are at a risk of going back to square one now and dragging on all summer until somebody gives in. Inter need to offload Radja Nainggolan from the wage bill.
