Paris Saint Germain and Inter may not be quite as close to an agreement for Achraf Hakimi as first believed, according to a report in the Italian media today.

It has been reported by Tuttosport that there is still a gap between the two clubs on the transfer fee for the Moroccan wing-back who has dominated the headlines for the past month.

This week Paris Saint Germain bid much closer to Inter’s asking price which appeared to be the sign for Chelsea to pull out of the race.

The Ligue 1 side raised their offer to above €60 million plus some bonuses, but Inter would still like to receive €70 million up-front as well as some easily attainable bonuses that would take the value to above €80 million.

With the two sides now being much closer in negotiations and the personal terms already being agreed on with Paris Saint Germain, it is very likely the deal will still go through.
