Barcelona have given the green light for Philippe Coutinho to join Inter on loan this summer with the potential for a permanent deal, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, Inter are very interested in bringing Philippe Coutinho back to the club after he left for Liverpool in 2013. It was there that he became a world-class attacking midfielder and earned a £142 million move to Barcelona.
His career has since taken a downturn in Spain and despite a relatively successful loan spell at Bayern Munich, he has struggled with injuries and the system at Barcelona.
The Catalan club would like to stop paying his wages, or at least part of them as they have deep financial issues of their own. They are reportedly open to letting the Brazilian join Inter on loan and including an option for Inter to buy the player at the end of the deal.
