Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin is Inter’s first-choice target to replace the outgoing Achraf Hakimi and Inter have made contact with Arsenal, according to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio today.

Releasing the news on his website gianlucadimarzio.com via Sky, it is clear that despite seemingly being a bit too expensive, Hector Bellerin is the player that Inter have chosen to pursue most aggressively to replace Moroccan wing-back, Achraf Hakimi.

Achraf Hakimi will likely undergo his medicals with Paris Saint Germain tomorrow before his move becomes official, and that will then free the Nerazzurri up to pursue their own targets.

Arsenal reportedly only want around €20 million for Hector Bellerin, meaning he might be affordable for Inter after all. Some at Inter have reservations over the Spanish full-back because he is a product of Barcelona and has never played as a wing-back in the 3-5-2 system that Simone Inzaghi will be using.

Davide Zappacosta remains an alternative should this deal not come off.
