Inter are set to begin offloading fringe players on high wages now that the Achraf Hakimi transfer saga is coming to an end, according to a report in the Italian media.

It has been reported by Calciomercato.com that Inter’s attention will now turn to actively selling players such as Radja Nainggolan, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Perisic, and Alexis Sanchez.

Inter are still struggling to arrange the very complicated financial situation that Radja Nainggolan and Cagliari have that includes high wages and severance pay issues.

Arturo Vidal is supposedly happy to stay at Inter where he earns €6.5 million a year and still has a year to run on his deal. Inter would rather offload him and stop paying at least part of that massive wage. There is interest from Brazil, America, and China for the Chilean midfielder.

Two other South American players in Matias Vecino and Alexis Sanchez are also up for sale.
