Inter have stated that they want young defender Lorenzo Pirola to move somewhere on loan where he can have consistent playing time rather than a sporadic role in the team, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

It ahs been reported by Tuttosport that AC Monza are still the frontrunners to get Lorenzo Pirola on loan. They also had the player last season when they almost gained promotion to Serie A after only just getting promoted to Serie B the season before.

Lorenzo Pirola only made 12 Serie B appearances that season though, which means Inter may be less inclined to send him back on loan there where he might not play many games.

Parma have recently made it clear that they would like the youngster to join them on loan following their relegation from Serie A. The opportunity to play in defence with Gianluigi Buffon as goalkeeper could be very appealing for the player. Sassuolo have also expressed interest, offering Serie A football.
